Welcome! I’m a PhD candidate in International Relations/Political Science at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva.
You can read about my research interests here. I study influence on and of regional international organizations in their broader environment. In particular, I am interested in the types of relationships that secretariats develop in IO funding. My doctoral dissertation develops this argument through the case of the African Union, and I also have worked on regional integration in the post-Soviet space. Thematically, I am interested in peace & security and infrastructure development.
My research is published in the Journal of Common Market Studies (JCMS), West European Politics, International Spectator, and by Routledge.
Previously, I studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) of University of London, the College of Europe (Bruges) and University of Geneva. I have worked in Brussels and Palestine, most recently as a consultant for GIZ.
